Materials of the Partnership conference "Geophysical observatories, multifunctional GIS and data mining"

Abstract

This brochure contains the materials of the International Partnership Conference "Geophysical Observatories, Multifunctional GIS and Data Mining", organized under the auspices of UNESCO.

The purpose of the conference was a comprehensive discussion of integration of data on geosciences, environmental, biomedical, social and economic sciences in a multi-discipline and multi-functional intelligent GIS, a sophisticated instrument for decision-making support in poverty mitigation, food and water problems, ecology improvement and world overpopulation. More than 120 leading scientists and experts in geophysics, geo-informatics, environmental sciences, applied and perspective systems analysis and artificial intelligence from France, Germany, USA, Canada, Finland, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Russia and Ukraine took part in the conference.
