Geophysical Center RAS is the member of the Publishers Interlinking Association (PILA) and its main project CrossRef
(see right column for more detail).
Articles published in the Geoinformatics Research Papers series (GRSP) have assigned DOI numbers.
Assigned DOIs are composed of two parts separated by forward slash: (i) publisher's prefix (10.2205 for GC RAS) and (ii) unique paper identifier assigned by Editors of the Series.
Books and papers published in the GRPS should be cited as:
<author(s)> (<year>), <article_title>, <journal_title>,
<volume_number>, <citation_number>, <DOI-number>, e.g.
Citation: Lushnikov, A. A., A. D. Gvishiani, Yu. S. Lyubovtseva, and A. A. Makosko (2013), Evolution models for geomedical
statistics, Geoinf. Res. Papers Ser., BS1001, doi:10.2205/2013BS008.

CrossRef is the citation-linking backbone for online publications. Established in 2000 by
scholarly publishers as an independent, non-profit entity, it enables researchers to navigate
electronic journals, across publishers, based on open-standards technology (the Digital Object
Identifier, or DOI, system).
The Digital Object Identifier (DOI)
is a system for identifying content objects in the
digital environment. The DOI system provides a framework for persistent identification,
managing intellectual content, managing metadata, linking customers with content suppliers.
The system is managed by the International DOI Foundation.
